Does anyone else have the feeling that Obama might be a good president?

Now that Obama is already denouncing and taking back alot of his policies that would have been extremely destructive, and that he is picking people with actual experience to serve in his cabinet. Now that he has publicly said that he will need to postpone or completely eliminate some or all of his promises, do any other conservatives think he will actually be a centrist and successful president?
