Does this boy like me?

I have known him for like ever and since we started high school(last year) we were in every cl together and we became close. But since year 8 we haven't really been as close but he stares at me alot and he came up to me after not seeing me for like a day and hugged me and said i missed you i was like awww and he says to me he loves me? But does he like me iin like a like like way? thank-you:)
