I have Canon dm xm2 Camcorder. the Problem is no display on screen or viewfinder. help please:)?

there are no settings in the user menu or control interface to turn the display on or off , the only thing I can think of however is the small on on the interior of the viewfinder indent which will have a DISPLAY / Data Code written next to it , press this it may work , if this isn't the culprit then there are big problems , if this doesn't fix , you may have to get a small screw drive to undo the small screws on the viewfinder , undo the thread to the viewfinder and reinsert it (it is ribbon) this should fix if the problems are contact based
