How should I pursue a company who have conned me?

I don't think you can get your money. Any legal action you take will probably cost you more than they owe you. You probably won't be able to find them anyway. I hope you don't think they told you their real names. These types of outfits are a scam. They know they're going to be shut down before long and they don't have any intention of paying you. They just appear someplace else under another name and using different names for themselves. They find other naive people to work for them and when they get found out they just disappear again.
