How do you translate Abd Allah ? Slave or worshiper?

alamu alaikum Abdullah means the slave of Allah as one of the 99 good names of Allah or asmaul khusna We could not use the name of Allah so we should put as addition Abdul before the name of Allah.I have a different opinion with you, that the more appropriate is to use the slave of Allah than the worshiper because we can worship not to Allah but to idols or statues. Slave means also as surrender to Allah only or hamba/servant of Allah..A slave of Allah has free will but he should know its consequences,There is no force to follow Islam..We could not think that a slave does not have free will because the slavery era was gone now..
