What does the term harmonics mean to you?

Harmonics is when one note is played, but more notes are heard. Saxophones can do this by manipulation of the sound, by the embouchure and the throat. If you have the pedal down on a piano and play one note, you will hear other notes sounding, because of the way sound waves work.
