Russell westbrook's shooting addiction?

why is russell westbrook consistently taking as many or more shots than kevin durant per game recently?? kevin durant is so much better than westbrook, and they have to do is basically feed him the ball. is westbrook getting jealous with durant's popularity and wants to prove something? IMO he's being too much of a ball hog, and that will eventually be the reason they get sent home in these playoffs. What do you guys think about this?
